Work Travel Together
Green cliffs and a waterfall falling into the sea in Madeira

Two weeks · One house · 12–20 people who work

Work every day,
next to real people.

Real work, real people, a new place each time. Goa in January, Rishikesh in February, Madeira in April.

Community first, run at cost · Application-only · No payment to apply · 5–20 January 2027 · 14 places

Why this exists

  1. 45 people. One office.
  2. Then the work started moving to AI.
  3. Faster. Smaller. Quieter.
  4. 10 hours a day. Just me and the AI.
  5. The work was fine.
    I wasn't.

So I'm fixing it the obvious way: people, in a room, working.

Rishi Chadha, founder

Community first

Not a business. A house full of people who work, from all over the world.

This is run at cost. Every dollar you pay goes into the house, the food, the internet and the people, and whatever is left goes into making the next trip better for the next people. The point is smiles at dinner and friendships that last longer than the trip.

Work every day. Move in the morning. Dinner together. Two weeks. A new place each time.

A person doing a yoga pose on a hilltop at sunrise
07:00 Morning activity: yoga, run, swim, gym, your pick
Desks with monitors in a warm co-working room
09:00–18:00 Work. Quiet room, backup internet, a room for calls
Long tables under string lights at dusk
19:30 Dinner together
Snow-covered Himalayan peaks under a blue sky
Then a new place: Goa, Rishikesh, Madeira, the Himalayas

Places

A new place each time.

Beaches, mountains, snow, rain. Always a quiet house with a real work room.

How it works

You apply, because the house only works if everyone in it is there to work.

  1. Apply. Nine questions, 5–10 minutes. No payment.
  2. We reply within 48 hours. Rishi reads every application himself.
  3. Accepted? Your seat is held for 7 days. Lock it with a refundable $100 if you want to. Optional.
  4. The trip runs when 12 people are in. If it doesn't, every dollar comes back, no questions.

Questions

Before you apply

Who is this for?

People who work a full day, every day: founders, freelancers, remote employees. Most will be 28 to 50. Many now work alone with AI tools and miss having people around. If you want a holiday, this isn't one.

Who is it not for?

Anyone looking to party, to switch off, or to "see how it goes" with work. Quiet from 22:00 is a rule, not a vibe.

Is this a business?

No. It is a community-first project run at cost. The price covers the house, food, internet, the morning sessions and the host. Anything left over goes into the next trip, not into anyone's pocket. We are here for people from all over the world working side by side, and for the friendships that come out of that.

Do I pay to apply?

No. If you are accepted, you can hold your seat with a refundable $100. That is optional. The full price (flights never included) is paid only once the trip is confirmed with 12 people.

When do I get the final itinerary?

Once a trip has its first few confirmed people we lock the house and the daily plan, and send everyone the final itinerary at least 4 weeks before the start. If it is not what you expected, you get a full refund then.

What if the trip doesn't fill?

We cancel it at least 4 weeks before the start and refund everything, in full, the same week.

What if I need to cancel?

Before confirmation: full refund. After confirmation: full refund up to 4 weeks before the start, and we help you pass your seat on after that.

Internet and calls?

Every house has fibre or a dedicated line plus a 4G/5G backup, a quiet work room and a separate room for calls. Odd-hour calls for Europe or US time zones are normal here; the call room is yours.

Do I have to do yoga?

No. The morning hour is for moving, not for yoga specifically: yoga, a run, a swim, the gym, a long walk. There is a led session most mornings for those who want one; the rest just show up for breakfast after. Nobody checks.

Can I bring a partner?

Yes, if they also apply and also work. Rooms are private; a shared room for two costs 1.5× one place.

Visas?

Goa and Rishikesh: Indians need nothing; most European passports get an Indian e-visa online in a few days. Madeira: Indian passports need a Schengen visa, which takes 6–10 weeks, so apply by mid-January and we send you an invitation letter.

What do you do with my data?

Your application goes to Rishi's email and nowhere else. We use it to decide and to contact you about this trip. No marketing lists, no selling, deleted when you ask. Full text.
